It's a holiday weekend! Hooray!
Due to a mountain of deadlines, I'll be working on Monday, so I decided to give myself this morning off from Wordless News. I just needed a little break to rest and rejuvenate. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, Wordless News will return on Monday!

Today I'm on the road to visit Coastal Carolina University as an outside evaluator for their art students. I'm excited to see some great work and catch up with my very talented friend, Jim Arendt who works at the university.
After I travel to the coast, I'm off in the opposite direction to visit the upstate. I'm taking a short trip to Greenville to pick up my work at the SCGSAH Gallery. From there, I'm going a little further north for a short mountain weekend. I'm disconnecting from the computer screen for the next few days to recharge and focus. I'm looking forward to some time with my sketchbook, hiking with friends and some peaceful time with mother nature.

Hi friends!
I'm taking the morning off to hang a show of Wordless News images at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities. I'm so excited and honored to have a solo show of 25 pieces at my former high school. The talent of the students there far exceeds my own. The show will be up from March 30 - April 25th if you are in the area and want to see Wordless News on the gallery walls!

Wordless News is taking this week off for a little vacation. I'm hitting the slopes for the next few days to get some much needed time away from the computer screen. Wordless News will happily return on Monday, February 9th.
