Hi Friends,
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful holiday season! Today marks the start of a short seasonal break for Wordless News. I'll be spending the next couple of weeks wrapping up projects for the year and spending time with family and friends.
I'm excited to start a new year of Wordless News come January second! I do want to mention that at the end of April or early May Wordless News will be taking several weeks off. I am pregnant with my first child and I'm certain that the demands of an infant will require me to take a little pause from the visual news. But the news will continue per usual between now and then and resume as soon as possible after the baby arrives.
Thank you for following along. I am so grateful for such a wonderful community of supporters. :)

Wordless News is taking a break for the next two days for CREATEATHON!
I'll be working with a great team of people to create materials for non-profit organizations for the next 24 hours. If you want to follow along — all night long — you can see what we're doing using the #createathon. Please enjoy a full eight hours of sleep for me!

Due to the devastating flood disaster in my hometown (Columbia, South Carolina) I am pausing Wordless News until Monday. Instead of drawing the news this week I will be volunteering and helping out in the community. Wordless News will return on 10.12. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Wordless News 9.24 - 9.28
I hope everyone is having a lovely Thursday! I am preparing to hop on a plane and fly to D.C. to speak at the NAEA virtual conference this weekend. I have a rehearsal tomorrow, filming and live presentation on Saturday and a workshop with teachers on Sunday. I'm super excited to be spending time with great artists and teachers in such a fantastic place! Since I've got a full weekend ahead and I am pausing Wordless News. The news will return on Tuesday, September 29th.
